The Porch Cabin - By Dale Mulfinger SALA Architects

I really like the design of this Cottage/Cabin and I think Mr. Mulfinger absolutely nailed the look and feel of a turn of the century Craftsman/Victorian summer vacation cabin without adding to many modern gewgaws which would spoil it. I discovered Dale Mulfinger's Porch Cabin some time ago and have pined after it ever since but felt that if I did ever have the opportunity to build a cabin retreat it might be a little more than I needed. I recently found this plan by Andrew Sheldon which I felt incorporated some of the strengths of the Porch Cabin on a little more modest scale (and perhaps a more modest price).

  2. I agree completely, thanks for the heads up, one of the nice things about the porch cabin is the abundant space, I was recently at a similar house and it was nice to have so much room for visitors to spread out
